Dr. Lima is a Family Nurse Practitioner with special training in sleep disorders. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Central Florida (UCF) where her research focused on obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Lima is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and has presented her research in their national conference. Her study has been referenced in numerous health news sites. She is also an adjunct instructor at UCF. Passionate about her community, Dr. Lima's volunteer services include being a guest speaker for sleep clinics, and seeing patients at a local free health clinic. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Lima is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
